A.Yes. A Patel of any samaj and caste residing in India
or abroad seeking a life partner can register with Patelvivah.com
Q. I am not a Patel.
Can I register on Patelvivah.com?
A.Patelvivah.com is meant for the world wide Patel community
only. It is not guaranteed that a non Patel profile
will be accepted.
Q. I am a Patel but
not residing in India. Can I register with Patelvivah.com?
A.Yes. Any Patel residing outside India can also register
with Patelvivah.com. Please note that the registration
fee for a Patel residing outside India is mentioned
in the registration form.
Q. What are the different
types of ways of registering on Patelvivah.com?
A.There are 3 ways of registering with Patelvivah.com
• Online registration can be done by filling up
the online form on the website and making the payment
through Cheque/DD/MO in the name of Patidar Samast Seva
Samaj, payable Ahmedabad.
• Obtain a form from the address mentioned in
the “Contact Us” on the website. After submitting
and making the payment at the mentioned address, the
registration will be done on the website within 7 to
10 days
• Click on “Download Form” on the
website. Fill up the form and send a copy to any of
the address mentioned in the “Contact Us”
on the website along with the payment. The registration
will be done on the website within 7 to 10 days
Q. Can I register
on Patelvivah.com for FREE?
A.Yes! You can register as a Guest User for free. A
Guest User profile, allows you to search the profile
of Paid Users. However Guest User profile cannot be
viewed by other members, nor can the Guest User get
full details of other member profiles.
Q. How do I register
my Paid User profile?
A.To sign up as a Paid User, click on the Register Now
link on the Home page. In the resultant screen, select
Paid User and sign up. Fill in all the required details,
please mention the mode of payment and submit the form.
Q. What is Login
Name?
A. Login Name is a unique identification given to every
registered member of Patelvivah. This identification
is to be used to login and search other member profiles.
Login Name along with the candidate name should be used
as a reference when corresponding with Patelvivah.
Please note that the Login name cannot be changed.
Q.
Will the Paid User profile be displayed online instantly?
A.No. Every new profile is first screened by Patelvivah.com.
If your profile is successfully accepted, and if the
payment is received, it will be made public instantly
for the other members to see. This process takes normally
7 to 10 days. On acceptance of your profile, you will
be informed via email. Meanwhile you can always login
and view other member profiles.

What do I do to ensure that my Paid User profile is
accepted?
A.For your Paid User profile to be accepted, be careful
while filling the Registration form. Fill in all the
necessary fields that are marked with asterisks. Please
do not enter any improper language in the “Additional
Information” section.

What are the different modes of payment?
A. Presently payment can be done by sending us a Cheque/DD/MO
in the name of Patidar Samast Seva Samaj on any of the
address mentioned in the “Contact Us” of
the website.
Please note that within a short time payment will also
be accepted via Credit/Debit card/Net-banking.
Q. How soon after
making the payment can I have the privileges of a paid
member?
A. The paid member privileges will be made available
to you as soon as we receive your payment and your profile
has been successfully screened.
Usually the payment via DD/Cheque/MO takes 7 to 10 days.
You will be assigned the Paid member privileges as soon
as we receive the payment.
Q.
Can I make changes in my Paid User profile information?
A. Yes. To change your Paid User profile information,
click on the ‘Modify Profile’ link on the
homepage. You will be prompted to log in. Once have
logged in, you can make the necessary changes. On submitting
the changed information, your profile will be updated.
Please note that the Login Name and Candidate name cannot
be changed.
Q.
I am a paid user. I want to add my photograph to my
profile. How do I do that?
A. You can add your photograph at the time of submitting
the registration form. On the subsequent page, click
on the "To Upload your image click here" link.
On the subsequent page, choose "Browse" and
select the image file from your computer containing
your scanned photograph.
Please note that the
image file should be .jpg. The
Maximum size allowed is 50 KB for passport sized photograph
and 100 KB for full size photograph.
Once you have registered, you can also add or modify
your photograph by clicking on the “Modify Profile”
link and carrying out the above mentioned steps.
Q. How can I upgrade
from a Guest User to a Paid User?
A. To upgrade your Guest User profile to a Paid User
category, click on the “Register Now” link
on the welcome page. In the resultant screen fill in
all the required details, please mention the mode of
payment and submit the form. The paid member privileges
will be made available to you as soon as we receive
your payment and your profile has been successfully
screened.
Q. I have forgotten
my password. What do I do?
A. If you have forgotten your password, use the “Forgot
Password” link. The password will be emailed to
you on the email id filled in the registration form.
Q. In how many ways
can I search the member profiles?
A. Please note that the “Search” facility
will be available after
5th September, 2004.

Do you help in establishing contact within members of
Patelvivah?
A. Upon special request, we can always help in establishing
contact between members of Patelvivah. However please
note that as this service is not charged, no guaranty
is given for the same.
